Greatest play in BSC history

Another great play was in the early 90's I think when a player (help me out forgot his name) shattered the backboard on a dunk. Stopped play for 45 min, made sportscenter, crazy crazy crazy.

Some old-timers might need to help me out with the specifics of this play, but I remember back in 1986 when MSU played #1 St. John's in the NCAA tourney, we not only gave them a hell of a game, but we had one white dude that just flew over a bunch of stunned Johnnies and dunked it over them all on a fast break - it was sweet!

Kral Ferch left handed monster dunk was over Walter Berry or Shelton "The Horror" Jones. That game also featured Tom Damako casting from well beyond the 3 point line. I believe it was the first year the 3 point rule was in effect, the BSC had the luxury of being one of the 3 point test conferences the prior year.

Nate Covile.

Nate Colville was a freshman playing against Idaho State when he shattered the backboard. Nate was not a great leaper but obviously, at 6'9" could stuff it.

i would hate to bring this up but my fav play was the fade away - "high percentage shot" from three pointland that the Cat's Jefferson hit at the recent cat-griz game...i watched it during the news that night and it still leaves me thinking how the hell did that go in???
