It appeared to be pretty bad. He held the ball, held the ball, held the ball then as the defenders got free was back-pedaling and tried to throw the ball while getting hit. I imagine the coaching staff would want him to get rid of the ball sooner or if protection is breaking down, protect the ball and just take the loss.

Getting rid of the ball (throwing it away for another down) is not a skill I have ever seen from Brown.

Griz are #1 in the power rankings this week. Without Haucks return I doubt that are back to where we’re even in the conversation as the number one team in FCS. We had fallen on some hard times. We owe this to Bobby and #RTD…..it wasn’t an empty hashtag, but a promise that he kept. The kittens so wanted Haucks second stint here to be different and less successful than the first. He has exceeded expectations and returned this football program to its rightful place. The next big step is a conference title and a title run. Go Griz!
