"Notice that the Carlson article mentions Coach Delaney, but obviously was unable to get a statement from Stitt."

I generally take the position that I don't have a dog in these fights, but this seems to be a clear example of seeing what you want to see, and blocking out what does not fit the narrative. Coach Stitt obviously praised Carlson, and rightfully so.
No, it was reading some idiot's comments after a long day, trying to do what people like him do, stir up threads gratuitously, and being too tired to re-read it correctly. The reporter did get ahold of him and so he said something, good for him. Someone had to reach out to do it, since Stitt didn't do it by press release or comments on Twitter so, if pushed, he'll say something.
Now. why start this kind of crap on a thread about Carlson? Because some of you are so d***** petty you can't even read a thread about some kid without some ulterior motive about something else.

And there it is.

God I cant wait till Stitt wins a championship and bitch slaps 75 in his whore mouth!

Will see. I sure don't hear about any players loving Stitt.....and have heard of plenty that despise him. I know not every coach needs to be a players' coach, but in today's world it seems more important. Was Carlson's "calling" moved up a couple years?

Ya you hear that from reading egriz and people like 75. Its not a very entertaining story for 75 to write something like...Justin Calhoun thinks Stitt is a pretty fair coach....doesn't have much of an opinion of him. Thats not fun to write about is it.

If you believe that, you sir are apart of the problem..

Not on E-Griz....players and ex-players must be confused as to how they feel.

Yup. Things get weird when there isn't something on the field to armchair. Wait, those threads usually turn out the same. Never mind.

I agree and not trying to turn this into a who likes Stitt thread. Would just like to catch one unsolicited positive comment about him from a player. I'll go away now. Best of luck to Carlson!!

Hav's post was a directed at you not showing up to take a dig at Stitt.
I've mentioned it before. It's a nice thread, about a nice story about kid following his dream. So, what's the problem? Well, "Havgriz" doesn't have enough outlets from his apparently inexhaustible supply of gratuitous venom. So, here we are.

Some jackass has to bring Stitt into it "just because." Some of you fume and foul so much that somebody might even be thinking about something bad about Stitt, you have to take a thread about a kid and make it yet another thread about Stitt.

Don't want to give it a rest? OK, how about "Another Player Leaves the Football Team." It seems like a lot of good talent deciding to follow their "different calling" these days. Some of them give their explicit reasons.

Is that what you were looking for?

Hav's post was a directed at you not showing up to take a dig at Stitt. And in your reply you post a false claim trying to make dig at Stitt, while defending yourself against a claim not made. Those of us with reading and comprehension skills are fully on to your game. You hate and will never like Stitt, and will argue to the end with anyone who elicits proof from you that you hate and will never like Stitt.
You know, this is your own private little fabrication, a cheerleader who thinks any critique is DISLOYAL! Well, cool your pompoms. There's been some things about the way Stitt handles "people" that I don't think is appropriate. I applauded his hiring. I've said multiple times I think he's a smart guy and look forward to what he might do on the field. The steady drip-drip of loss of good players is not reassuring, but we will see what we will see.

But, you don't read those things, with all those "comprehension skills." You're a cheerleader, and you got wind blown up your dress and just can't stand it.

This thread is a good example of fanatics like you and havgriz. Obsessive and delusional ideologues who invest and project themselves into the football coach. That's why you take it personally.

It was a great Reese Carlson story. "Havgriz" just couldn't stand to have a thread just complimenting a player.

It's too bad. It was a great story. Well written.

And this is the second most overblown argument....and you should do a little more research before you make assumptions about Reece's decision......

This is the most overblown argument over the past year......
Give yourself some credit. Claiming that a player did a bad job but was not being thrown under the bus for a key team loss was "overblown."

Kind of like ALL THE RESEARCH that your ship of fools performed to assert that Dalton Daum left the team and that it had NOTHING to do with the football program and NOTHING to do with the football team.

You mean, that kind of research?

I thought you were the one that went off about Stitt not praising this kid when in reality, he did? I would have thought with your superior reading/writing comprehension skills, that you continuously give us the pleasure of reading on egriz, this surely would not be something missed by the great 75.

Yeah, so he lied when he talked to the newspaper, right? You are piece of work.
