Oh my gosh! That's the most homer call I've ever heard!!!
:laugh: Seriously though. That would win easily on the Dan Patrick Show for homer call of the week.
Nice win for the Hornets. And a nice shot to end the game. Not as great as the announcer thinks it was, got a good open look with 0.4 seconds left. A good shooter will put that in 50% of the time.

I don't mean to poopoo the big win for the Hornets. Plays like that can lift a team and start a stretch of W's.
But c'mon. "The greatest shot we've ever seen?" "I don't know how he got it off?" It's catch and shoot and he was wide open. Clutch? Yes. A monster win? Definitely.

Montana Gym Rat is totally right that the call is worthy of the Dan Patrick Homer Call.
That 50% of the time comment is a bit far out. First off, the best three ball shooter in the BSC last year hit .527 from behind the line. That's just a bit over your 50% mark, and if you ask me, that's not good, it's great. Add the fact that it's OT, less than a second left, and a big game for Sac State considering that they'd not actually beat this school since the mid-60s. That's a huge shot any way you slice it.
