Think it's more than books as well Murman, might be close a 1/2 schollie.

Considering the price of books (My sons almost equaled his tuition) thats nothing to sneeze at. How the Hell can a math book be $200.00 not to mention one of the business course that had excerts form several books bound together for 230.00 and thwe book store wouldn't take it back with the others as used books....

If your son is still in school have him check out http://www.chegg.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for books! :thumb:

Picking up this kid as a WR makes me think that Jannsen from Loyola will be a safety for the Griz. Correct me if i'm wrong but wasn't he named to the Super State team as a DB?
Very solid instate pick up in Horner! I can think of another 6'5" 210lb WR who gave us fits this year....out with Kauffman....in with Horner?? ;)

Another good one is abebooks.com. I got all my books there. They are international versions but the only thing that is different is the inside cover usually. Never had a bad experience.

Yeah ok I'll put my info against yours any day. Go back and check if you want to. I have been wrong on only one thing ( Roderick after he changed his mind last minute)

it wasn't last minute at all. you guys can continue to keep saying the same thing rather than just saying you were wrong but it doesn't make it true. it's why the roderick threads were so funny. if you don't REALLY know....i.e. talked to the person.....some would be better off just not speculating.

Wrong. Roderick did not decide to go to the cats until the absolute last minute. Before that he was 50:50 and even further before that leaning heavily griz. Why do you think that he came out with his decision the day that classes started at MSU. Had it not been still deciding do you really think he would wait until the very last minute to tell anyone?

Whatever you decide, do not let the T-Rod saga die. After all, he ALMOST came to Missoula. This topic should keep us all busy till the snow melts. Way to screw up a new recruits thread. :thumb: :thumb:

right back at ya

I stand behind this info 100% and there literaly could not be a better source in this case, but let's quit ruining a GRIZ recruits thread. PM sent.

Awesome for him. Personally, If this kid has decent speed for his size. I want him to be a WR.

Why? I am sick of seeing EWU role out big talented WR every year. They have their own assembly line of big stud WR's. One or 2 leave, Within 4 games the following year another 2 emerge. Seriously, am not joking. We need to learn to do what they have done.

I do wonder, if we bring in the talent, will we ever learn to feature a WR like EWU has for how long? Would we know how to feature a big stud WR? The only feature superstar WR we utilized over the last decade was Mariani. Many think we under used him too.

Anyone know his 40 time? 4.6 or better, make him a WR, "PLEASE"!!!!!

I had the opportunity to watch Josh play in Butte in the state semi final game. He was a dominate force on the field. As a Bulldog and Griz supporter, I am pleased to say that this is good news. This kid is big, athletic, and tough. He can play a number of positions.

'Bout time.....last time we had decent teams we had players from Great Falls, CMR in particular. 1995 - 2001 anyone?

After reading the Tribune this morning about Josh committing to the Griz I smiled. Great news by a kid who WANTS to be a Griz and WANTS to succeed doing it. His attidude along with his skills are what Grizzly football is all about. :thumb: Now if we can get the Stenzel kid to walk on I will give several hand claps.....................Go Griz!!

Well, maybe we can get that Stenzil kid to follow his cousin to the Cats!

Who is Stenzil? Talking with his dad it seems unlikely tho. Regardless he has the strength and motor to be a FCS caliber football player.(I may even soften a bit) Off topic I'm surprised the golf coach has let the "other cousin" fly under the radar. Local kid who would bring stability and more importantly grades to msu's program. :thumb:

If JJ doesn't come back, we will have another year of great receivers and no one to throw the ball to them. Sure hope Gus can move a throw (accurate).

Another year of great recievers?! What blend of chornic were you smoking?

OK just dug a little deeper. Initial offer around a month ago was prefered walk on or books, then the coaches recently bumped it up. Cant get a for sure confirmation on the amount other than it was somewhere around 1/3 or 1/2.

Good get for us. The kid is a pretty good athlete.

I think he is a great athlete. People will be surprised at his athleticism due to the fact that he plays in CMR's tailback first program. Hard to argue with it given the success Johnson has had and the year that Hunter Thomson had. I think of Ryan Bagley when I think of him, but I think of a little taller, a little faster, and at this point in his career a lot stronger. He is very respected by the coaches and his teammates.

I'm a fan of Horner. I saw him play in Butte twice this past football season. He ran like a man possessed in the semi-final loss to Butte. He is big, he is fast, and he is strong. Not to mention he is pretty dang athletic. But my favorite part to like about him is his toughness, he will flat-out stick his nose in there and get after it. You can't coach that, desire. He will be a playmaker/difference maker before it's all said and done. :twocents:
