I think you're absolutely right. And I know it's just me, but I'd love another opportunity to beat Furman again. I have a DVD I break out on occasion so I can watch Yo and that defense dominate a game.

They are beyond horrible

The single best helmet in all of sports is the silver helmet with maroon Griz script. It's clean, it's traditional and when any sports fan sees it they know exactly who it is. Unlike so many others.

Just look at the scats helmets. They went away from gold helmets to baby sh*t yellow with script Cats( which I thought were great), to whatever they chose next, and KEEP ON CHANGING TO, and what is their brand.......NOTHING!
Who the hell came up with the STUPID F'n idea to move away from the script GRIZ? Total idiotic idea. It's our trademark.

I’m not sure the design to which you refer. But, if it’s the Griz one on the shirts of what appears to be a father and a daughter smiling, I could not disagree more. I think that one is rad. If it’s the Furman one, I kind of agree. Mostly, I’m just responding because I haven’t heard/seen the term “butt ugly” in quite some time. I’m going to have to work it back into the rotation.

Penn State has the best helmet in CFB. It would be even better without that gaudy blue stripe.

Penn State, Alabama, Michigan, Oklahoma all have some of the best uniforms in the sport. Love the classic look.

Honest to God one of my favorite things I'm looking forward to with this game against Delaware is the helmet/uni matchup. Delaware has such a cool look. This is the kind of FCS helmet game we've been waiting for for a long time.

The Griz in our classic unis with the iconic and unique silver & maroon script helmet against Delaware in their gorgeous blue-winged helmets. I just wish we could change the color of the pants back to silver instead of this weird gray off-cream we have, and it'd be perfect.

It honestly makes me super sad that this will be the last time the Griz have a chance at hosting this matchup. Gonna savor it for sure.

This is not because I'm Canadian and it will probably not be a popular opinion but I'm not a fan of the Evel Knievel helmets. I get wearing them around Veterans Day, it's a nice tribute. As a colour scheme it doesn't work with any of our other colours.
