Maybe someone already asked/answered this, but why the f*** is it "granite"? What the f*** does "granite" have to do with UM? Copper, yes. Gold, yes. Even if it was a "silver-out", I'd get that, but granite? Doesn't granite come in all kinds of colors? My neighbor claims to have "granite" countertops but they look pink to me. I've seen another set that's brown and a third set that looks blue. Come to think of it, the only "grey" granite I ever see are headstones....not the best association.
The only things I can think of are: 1) UM marketing dept wanted to add another marketing ploy, maybe they already had a maroon-out, white-out, and/or black-out games planned so they decided to call it a "granite-out" to avoid "silver-out" which could possibly be to similar to the cat people's "gold/piss-out" or whatever the f*** they call it, or 2) the UAS owner (in his leather cut-out pants, construction worker, navy, and/or chieftain costume) was sitting in his office one day starring at a bunch of MT Tech T-shirts left-over and thought of a great way to scam UM
