so now we have a list of the "grizzly athletics graduates."

men's basketball: of four seniors, four graduated. a fifth player, mathias ward, did too, even though he has a year of eligibility left. that's 100%, plus.

football: of 23 seniors listed on the roster, seven graduated. that's roughly 30%.

okay, four who apparently didn't graduate did major in nfl football--johnson, mcsurdy, sambrano and lizowski.

congrats again to tinks for finding true student athletes.

Great for the basketball program. Not so good of a stat for football though. Thanks for the info, just be prepared, someone will come here with some stupid post berating you for pointing out something negative about the football team.

i can handle it.

My understanding is that if college athletes go directly to pro sports they are not counted against you in the graduation percentage rates. That is why Kentucky basketball isn't penalized. IF, and that is a big if, that is the way it is done then I think we would have 11 players treated as graduates.

Citay, refresh my memory. Was it you who originally told us how good Cherry was, before he got to campus? I want to get my facts straight, next year come this time. I am preparing myself for a lot of Will Cherry predraft talk here next year.
