Montana commit, is he really 6'3 250? I was looking up Big Sky signings and it showed him at the PF position. Is this information accurate?

You're kidding! Whoa, I imagine he could be hard to get around. Should be interesting to see if he's productive.

He is rated one of the top Juco Forwards in the country

question is, will chase even start. strait and hasquet are locks up front, while i look for kyle sharp to make the same sort of major improvement from frosh to soph that strait did. it's a measure of the growth of our basketball program that three years ago a gus chase would have arrived a la kamaar davis as an instant star, where now he might not even be in the starting lineup.

Competition is what makes a team great, besides, starting is over rated. There are plenty of minutes to go around. The depth we had this year is what made the Griz so tough.

Jordan is ticketed to play more at the 3 position. I think it is going to be tough to keep Gus off of the court.

This years team is loaded, it is acutally quite funny. Nobody will not have us winning the Big Sky this year....

I MISS GRIZZLY BASKETBALL

I hope that the Aussie can play post. Strait is really a poser forward
I think the Griz can win the Big Sky again. They play the Huskies in
Seattle this year. Go Griz.

Gus is a very talented player and is very strong, has good moves in and around the basket. I've had the privilege the past two years to watch him play and got to know him, and not only is he a good player but a very nice all around individual. You Griz fans should enjoy having him for the next two years.

I would not be suprised to see Andrew at the 5 position again next season. We have to remember that he was an unanimous all-league selection at center. His combination of quickness and strength make him a nightmare for opposing centers to guard. The coaches may not want to mess with this. Also, I believe there is a pretty good chance that Vanderjagt will redshirt. We are pretty well loaded with post players who have already contributed significantly (Strait, Chavez, Sharp, Hasquet) going in to next season. Given the addition of Chase, there might not be many minutes available for a true freshman center.
