How about this....F U, and all of your (who the eff let this guy decide he could judge anything) committee kiss my opinion. I didn't realize that as an alum, I was not allowed to have an opinion that was not in line with whoever the eff playerrep is. So every article I read talked about SD postionless Defense as something hard to figure out. Did Griz break this by the quick slants? What the hell is a postionless defense? I had weak signal to steam the game to watch and find out myself :| . Thanks for any explanations.

Some good points here. In my first post I said the Oline gave Sneed “some time”. But as you say, it wasn’t “All Day”. Or even “Lots of Time”. They look better than last year, but still not run blocking too well. And Eastwood pussyfoots around and never seems to be moving very fast. I I like the D backfield. And I liked the work from
Gubner.

One guy had 15 yards on 8 carries, 1.8 ypc and a fumble he was damned lucky to recover.

Each had a really bad drop out of the backfield that would have extended drives.

Small sample set, but I know which one I like.

Ugly: Numerous MSU student recruitment adds on the TV broadcast.

I saw several UM ads while watching in Helena.

Yes there were some ads for UM, but still annoying that MSU gets to capitalize on Griz games by throwing their ads in as well. There should be a disclaimer statement after each MSU
ad that says, “WARNING! MSU is NOT the University of Montana - may represent a poor life choice”

If you get the chance to watch a second time, focus some attention on the best player to wear 37 in all of Montana college ball. Sims was nothing short of outstanding, and you didn’t need to have played the game to have realized that.

Yeah, he was a monster in the middle for sure. Just hope he’s able to play next week. Shoulder injuries are tough. Did he come back after he went down?

Every game is different. I had no problem with the coaches channelling Don Read and making the short pass their run game. That is what the Coyotes gave them for most of the game. Lets see what a traditional defense shows and if Montana can run at that. My guess, with this passing performance on tape, some teams now try to take away Toure and Akem with more zone. That should give the Griz some openings for the run.

I mentioned this a couple of days ago about the 4th quarter. Great points here MTGriz!!

I didn't realize until I re watched the 4th quarter today, that last drive started with over 6 minutes left on the clock, and SD also had all 3 of their timeouts left that they used during that drive. Could easily have been an 8 minute drive. Impressive!!
