Good, Bad, Ugly - UNI

Here’s a good that I noticed after watching the game again. After being late hit out of bounds, Dalton Sneed ran over a photographer. He then made sure that she was ok before going back out on the field. So many players just ignore photographers and bystanders on the sidelines that they collide with. It was a classy move. I’m really liking this kid.

:lol: He might have been, LOL. But you could clearly read his lips asking her if she was okay. I was impressed by that.

People have met under stranger circumstances...
 
My complaint of Bobby the first time around was he tended to have his 'style or system' that he was going to execute no matter what the opposing teams strengths or weaknesses were. All I want to see is that he uses the talent he has in the best way and exploits the other teams in the best way based off of their talent. So I was very happy with the first game. Old Bobby would have kept running up the middle and getting stuffed.

Yeah, they ended the game with three straight passes. This team's strength right now is the wide receivers and the passing game. You could bet the ranch Chase Reynolds would have gotten the ball 3 straight times in 09.
 
I am cautiuosly more optimistic after that honeymoon first half and gritty but kind if sh—ty second half. Hopefully we can find that energy and grit after the honeymoon wears off and down the stretch of an arduous regular season. Good work Bobby, coaches and team. Keep it working harder and raising your level.
 
Ugly- Our lame crowd until 3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. It was embarrassing. UNI OL players were pumping up the crowd mocking all the fans still gone

Interestingly, at that point it was still 26-0. It was RIIIIIIGHT after that they scored and then scored and scored again... :oops: :oops: :oops:

Drop by Curran and the missed tackle on the shovel pass were the 2 biggest mistakes IMO.
