Ok hoops. Lets run the stats
3rd down conversion- 3rd to 15th
3rd down defense- 8th to 25th
Completion %- 15th to 27th
Rushing offense- 2nd to 4th
Rushing defense- 9th to 39th
Red zone offense- 5th to 15th
Scoring offense- 1st to 5th
Scoring defense- 6th to outside top 50
Passing efficiency- 4th to 47th
Total defense- 4th to outside top 50
Total offense- 1st to 6th
If you want to argue sos we have played our backups for almost the whole 2nd halves which hurts our stats.
Griz were alternating in depth guys the whole game

Thanks for the clarification. As I mentioned, I'm not a player myself, clearly. But I presume that corners are meant to cover certain players and/or zones, and I am guessing that a good chunk of his tackles are due to players making catches that he is responsible for defending. Next game I will pay closer attention to it.

Cats have played a weak schedule. Stats don’t compare. I base my view on watching the games and talking to people who know each team.

Nope. That’s not where most of his tackles are coming from, unless it’s a swing pass or screen, which he is not expected to prevent. Or maybe thet’s what you are asking. Do corners make a lot of tackles on swing passes and screens. Yes. But that’s because they got beat.

Just look to the post-Swarthout years before Don Read. New Dornblaser was the venue to get drunk or stoned. Football was a side show. After I graduated, I didn't give two shits about that 'football' team. Then, along came WGS and Don Read.
ISU is a good example of people not caring. First pre-season games would draw about 4,500 to the shed. Good attendance would be about 8,000, but that's since the millennium, with UM, scats, and Weber bringing a couple thousand of their fans with them. The Pocatello-Idaho Falls area population is about 250,000.

It doesn’t matter. We have demolished every damn team. What about that Idaho defense that was supposed to have one of the best front 7. We ran over those guys, legit more yardage on the ground than the number one team in FBS. You will understand come late November

You “demolished” New Mexico? I didn’t know that. I give some credit for Idaho. Griz have put up same numbers as Cat O but against better competition. UNC is common opponent. While not overly meaningful, Griz D shut down UNC and out up better numbers than Cat D. You don’t know much about football; I do.
Why don’t the good Cat posters on egriz ever support you?
