Ugly: We still don't have a "quality" win....tough to gauge this team heading into next week.

NAU wasn't a quality win?! :?

Back up qb against backup qb .
Can't really gauge the win .
Northern Colorado's defense has averaged giving up 501yds per game and now is a 2-7 team .We had just over that in yardage .
There's no reason we shouldn't have beat them

Scat are going to be tougher than most think
Just being realistic here
BTW FTC

We also played our backups for essentially the entire 2nd half. Can't really gage the win that way either.

Good- A lot of good on O and D but I'll go with defense. A lot of players to choose from. Favoroso, with the strip sack yesterday has 6 sacks in the last 5 games since returning to starting lineup and at least 1 in all 5. Strahm continues to elevate his play and was the leading tackler again. Schye had another very good game in a lot of ways. Key tackles, fumble recovery, deflected passes at line of scrimmage.

Favoroso leads the conference in sacks. Kid is something special.....

You are correct ,but how many other teams had there backups in against a team like Northern Colorado.

Epperly played fairly well, but boy did he take a terrible angle on the long run that led to UNC's first score.

And then he still caught him! Dude is pretty fricking fast....

Look at their scores. Against NAU, Cookus played the whole game. UND's starters played the whole game. MSU had to come back to win against them, so obviously they' weren't coasting. SUU never had more than a 13 point lead and starters played the whole game. Sac State blew them out, but it wasn't until the 4th quarter...was a 9 point game going into the 4th and their starters played the whole game.

So, the answer is.....NONE.

Seriously? We had our 4th string QB going against NAU's 2nd string QB... explain how that wasn't anything but a quality win...

Well, yes. But not 100%. They didn't have their Qb (obviously). Still a good win, but not a full representation of both teams' ability.

After watching the NAU/MSU game yesterday, I'm not sure how "quality" the NAU win was. They had Cookus and the Cats played pretty dang tough. It will not be too easy next weekend.

BAD:

I thought Treshawn Favors should have gotten carries in the 1st half running with the 1's. He has given a lot to this team thru the years and I would really have liked for him to get his chance.

Not quite but I am really liking what he is doing!

Maybe the fact Simis actually has started games for the Griz , NAU back up has never started , he'll had he ever even had reps ,even in garbage time .
So seriously come up with another excuse

BAD:
Yeah it's sad and probably not correct for us fans to say negative about kids/players... But I don't believe Caleb has potential to be a reliable QB, definetly need recruit a transfer ASAP. 😔

Not sure many quality transfers would want to come to most likely be a backup....I think more likely the freshmen QBs on roster (If they are still around ) plus we know it seems takes at least a year to be able to run his system
