Interesting comparison between our game and the one that NDSU played:
NDSU UCD
Rushing - 202 110
Passing - 156 312

MONTANA UCD
Rushing - 264 103
Passing - 268 291

NDSU is fairly balanced but pride themselves on their ability to smash the football on the ground and yet the Griz got more yards rushing, and in our game the Aggies got less. While the passing was pretty close to equal in the UM game, UCD was able to throw at will apparently against the Bison.
Does that mean our run defense is better than NDSU?

No. It means we played in two separate games.

Yep. The Davis team that faced the Griz was not the same team that played NDSU. (Yes, we watched both ... in fact, watched both twice). Oh, the names of the players were the same and all that. But even on TV you could feel the difference in intensity for the Aggies against the Bison. They were the (big) underdog with something to prove. Sure, they should have wanted to prove they were "legit" by playing well against the Griz, but it was just not the same. Factor in that the Griz were on fire = beat-down.

You may be validating another theory I have about Davis - They don't play well at home. U Sand Diego that they barely beat and the complete let down against the Griz. Whereas they played Cal well as well as NDSU.
Davis should just schedule all of their games on the road.

Davis played San Diego at San Diego.
