Good
- a road win against a team who is better than their record IMO.
- Justin Freaking Strong went beast mode
- Jeremy Freaking Calhoun went beastmode
- Alijah Lee continues to make good things happen with his touches
- Strahm and Banks were both disruptive
- The OL showed some signs of DOLA and I saw a lot of road grading til the whistle
- Keenan Curran had a big game with some great grabs
- Purdy solid on critical FGs
- putting up 45 points against a pretty good defense (I didn't think they would get over 40)
- the D stepping up when it really needed to. They got PSU to turn the ball over on downs in the red zone. Then Gresch threw a pick bringing them right back out and they forced a 3 and out. Then they made PSU turn it over on downs again down on the UM 20. Then they were assignmemt sound on the fake FG. I also liked some of the pressures Semore dialed up with safety blitzes
Bad
- refs not calling a hold to save their lives. They held Schye (or tackled him) on 99% of the plays
- PSU is a cheap, chirpy team and I'm glad they got called on some of their bullshit
- the inability to stop the QB run even when they know it's coming. It's a bad trend now. Teams will game plan it every week.
- way too many yards given up and open receivers
- Sandry seems hobbled. Going down hurt every single game. Love him wanting to play but it's turning a bit into like last year when they played an unhealthy Yamen too much and he was a liability.
Ugly
- our kick coverage is uglier than the inflatable bobcat helmet that pukes the Cats players onto the field. Seriously it's the worst I've ever seen, ever. Just kick it out of bounds. That's how bad it is
- the targeting call on Buss. Our D got a little more chippy after that and I liked it.
Notable - when our freshman QB has an off night but still goes 23-38 (60%) for 284 yards
