I forgot to add to the Uglies:

- the fing drive to the game. Sucked big time. Turned out to be worth it.

...filmed my own version...
...flippn' ice road truckers...
...on tuesday after the news...

... ...
Yes! White knuckles....

I'd add one bad:

The first half drops by the WRs. When you're starting your #4 QB, you simply have to make plays to help him out. Were all of those difficult catches? Yes, but in a game like that, they need to be made.

Not a bad bad to add.

Kem, which Stillwater are you coming from? Absarokee style or Olney style?

Good: improved defensive play, Simis carrying the team, Favoroso having a solid day, team believing in itself and each other
Bad: Calhoun’s dang shoulder, agree with contain issues, that running QB syndrome
Ugly: the offense in general...Need a couple more QB type dudes

How many FCS, or FBS for that matter, teams aren't going to struggle/see some drop off when their first two options at QB aren't available?

Maybe move Curran to defense as well. Three or more regular defensive players had hands on an errant pass & didn’t pull in any of them. Sims I might give a pass but McKinley & Buss, not so much.

I just meant depth for solid play. I think it's developing and hopefully be a positive soon. Used the word dude just because Stitt does.

I think McKinley more than Buss, but agree. The joke has always been good athlete, no hands, play defense! Hahaha

Yup, the D just had 2 games in a row where they didn't pick some passes that they need to get. Not saying they were easy picks, but some of them have to turn into picks, if the Griz are going to win close games. Semore and the defensive coaches are all over this, and have been all season and last year. They expect and want the defenders to make these picks.

Good
Turnovers even teams came in +6 NAU and -6 UM.
Bad
Defense is losing containment at times.
Ugly
Cookus’ antics leaving the field. BSC needs to suspend him.

The only thing that needs suspending is the Refs from the game. Without that BS Call, NAU wins by at least 20.

The call was 100% correct and you know it. And with our #2 QB instead of our #4, we win by 35. With our #1 we win by 45, so....

The targeting call was absolutely correct. The video from every angle showed it was correct. Not even a close call. Nice classy exit by your qb. Didn't matter, because Griz would have won even with Cookus. The Griz pressure would have put him on the run, as it was already starting to do. Just as his exit showed, he doesn't have the mental toughness to take the heat.

Your are a sore loser. Can't wait to see you show your head again around here.

PR don’t try reasoning ...d’s nutz
Cookus was totally selfish targeting a indefensible player engaged in a clean tackle. He didn’t use good judgment and was justifiably ejected.
Then as the announcer pointed out he was out of his mind as he was being removed from the field. I give him a pass for the illegal hit, however the fit that followed was not becoming of a student athlete, therefore the BSC should be consistent with their propaganda commercials encouraging good sportsmanship of their athletes. Cookus is not a bench warmer or a 4’6” WR he is the face of NAU football and the BSC, by ignoring the tantrum what kind of message is being sent to the rest of the student athletes and future players.
One game seems like a small price on such a public display of selfishness.
NAU fanbase should quit being a bunch of jacks and ds about diverting the big issue of actions befitting of a student athlete with poor Cookus the not guilty.

As posted earlier, the review judge told us at dinner that it was one of the easiest calls they have had to make. We lost two players from the Weber game with calls much closer than that one. And they did not act like babies leaving the field in Ogden.

Could not be more proud of the way this team conducts itself as a whole.
If I was an NAU fan, I would be much more angry at the actions of BBC than the loss.
He embarrassed himself, his team, and the entire Grand Canyon State.
