Good:
- played a bit of a sloppy game overall against a determined MVFC team, while missing multiple All Americans, and still came away with the win
- Hayden Harris played incredible. Some big TFL and some timely sacks
- the play by Gradney when he broke up a 4th and 7 pass at a critical time to stuff momentum was huge
- Eli Gilman is a special RB with incredible abilities. He carried the team in that last drive. Averaged 5.9 you and scored 2 TDs
- how about our new punter and FG kicker….Morrison had some incredible punts (averaged 45 yards per) and put the ball inside the 5 and 10 on top of kicking 3 FGs which we needed. I could see him being in the special team POTW discussion. He boomed on 60 yards in the air
- Xavier Harris really stepped up in Juniors absence and was awesome out of the slot. That high ball he went and got at the 3 yard line was incredible. And the 4th and 1 TD on the sideline showed his speed and strength
- I thought the QBs were efficient and did their jobs. Nothing mind blowing but nothing bad either
- we have a freshman LB who really flashed to me and made some big TFL and had a sack (Otlewski from SDSU). And he’s a presence out there at 6’4 235 lbs
- the Griz made the plays on offense and defense at the end when they needed to most
- was good to see Fontes bounce back after early drops
- Hayden filled in very nicely for Gubner in the middle and made some big plays
Bad:
- seemed like we gave the QB too much time to complete passes
- gave up at least 4 different 3rd and longs
- too much over pursuit and missed tackles
- can’t fumble punts especially in that situation of a 3 and out with awesome field position
Ugly:
- the refs letting the safety tackle White in the end zone when he was burned. That was incredibly obvious
Feel free to add anything
