Good, Bad, Ugly - Idaho St

Good: 2 point conversion early on got us up an extra point. It didn't seem like much to me at the time but it was crucial down the stretch. If we had been up 41-38, ISU could have attempted a FG and we very likely could have gone into OT. The offense was rolling and playing pretty well other than the bad noted below.

Bad: Running Eli up the middle, over and over. We should have gotten him in space somehow, someway. He is too dynamic of a player to not give him those opportunities.

Ugly: Pass D. I can't say much more than has been said but it was pretty ugly.

All in all, it was a great game to go and watch. The rain before hand really put a damper on things, literally and figuratively. Would have been fun to hang out with some people but it was just to wet to enjoy it. I enjoyed the game and the crowd was very pleasant where I was, both Griz and Bangel fans alike :)
Good: Bobby's ability to get coaches into second half adjustments. He is just really really good at that.

The absolute ugliest thing from this game was the concessions in the arena. The worst hot dog I've ever had. Expensive chips and cheese. And protip for next time, buy your water from the vending machine next to the concessions.

They fixed the arena. I hope the concession menu is next. You can get a better selection at a high school basketball game.

See 1:15:10 thru 1:16:07.
Davis comes up gimpy.
Watch the replay and Davis on the sideline.
#9 was rolling Davis’s ankle on the ground.
Been out of town, so I missed the whole game, but watching it now, did we talk about the blatant missed targeting call on ISU's WR #9 at 17:20?

I'm not a huge fan of targeting as a rule with the way it's enforced, but there's no world where that's not called targeting if a defensive player does the exact same thing: lower's the crown of his helmet and leads with it right into Rausch's head.

Not sure I have ever seen targeting called on a ball carrier. In fact, the only offensive player I can recall was the NAU QB on a crack back block.

I can't remember who it was that mentioned they thought Gillman was sick, but I noticed something when I watched the game back. After Wortham scored the go ahead TD with 3 minutes to go, the TV camera panned to Wortham sitting on the bench and sitting next to him was Bobby Kennedy and Kennedy reached into his pocket and pulled out some kleenex and blew his nose. That got me wondering if there's a bug running through the team and how many are affected by this. If that's the case then that could be why we saw a lackluster performance from a number of guys on Saturday.

I noticed the same thing...Eli didn't look 'well'

He took a rough hit early in the game and took time getting up, too. It was after that where I noticed that when the camera would be on him he looked unwell. I assumed it was that, but maybe illness. There was a nasty bug going around Missoula recently.
