Good, Bad, Ugly - Idaho St

Most of those wide open guys that Idaho State had running open the entire 2nd half were underneath routes that we were giving up. Granted the QB was having difficulties but we had this wrapped up.

it started when they had the lead, so that theory doesn't hold water.

...Bad: Akem’s missed TD catch in the 2nd quarter...ended up not mattering as we got the TD anyway, but man that was right there.

On Akem's missed TD pass - I was at the game and I initially thought the same thing. However, it was a much more diffiucult throw and potential catch than it appeared. I don't know if they showed another replay angle on the broadcast, but they did show one at the game that was just above field level from behind Sneed. Sneed made a helluva throw to even get that to Akem's hands, as the defender was in between Akem and Sneed. The throw pretty much went between the defenders helmet and his raised arm. Akem most likely didn't even see the ball until it was about a foot or two away from his hands. He could have potentially seen it when Sneed first threw the ball, but it most likely disappeared on him as the ball got closer. Would have been an tough play.

And considering how consistent he's been all season I'm more than okay with a few misses here and there.

What I didn't get is that ISU had their starting QB in the whole time. I don't see why they wouldn't have put the second stringer in to get some reps in the 4th quarter when the game was out of hand.

There was another pass Sneed threw from the 1 yard line I believe, to Toure that literally went between the defenders arm and his helmet   ....not sure how the defender missed it, or how Toure caught it, but he did and made a nice 25+ yard gain out of it...was something to see!

Hah! Yeah - when Sneed made that throw, you could tell damn near the whole stadium was holding their breath / wincing / accepting the probability of a near certain INT.
