"This will be a much bigger test on Saturday"
I sure wish I knew enough about football to predict that.

It wasn’t a prediction. It was an acknowledgement that the CW game and stats have only some relevance to the next game. It was intended to head off comments from dumbass posters. Guess it didn’t work."This will be a much bigger test on Saturday"

They would struggle to win a game in the BSC. The D did not play better. CW became fatigued because of the number of players having to play positions and on special teams.I’m not worried about our Defense. As I previously stated and have since heard a handful of other people state….CWU would finish near the middle of the conference in the Big Sky with their talent level. People need to quit overreacting to the Griz D performance in game 1….it was where we expected for a first game with 11 new starters and as Hoops pointed out it vastly improved from Half 1 to Half 2. If the Griz had beat Idaho State or Cal Poly 42-17 in Week 1 this wouldn’t be a conversation.
You obviously didn’t watch the game tape run down or talk to coaches. Plus, you don’t understand football. They would struggle to win a game in the BSC. The D did not play better. CW became fatigued because of the number of players having to play positions and on special teams.
Jordan Tripp and Colter Nuanez disagree with you. Both said they would be middle of the pack in the Big Sky. The first half vs second half defense was very evident. They would struggle to win a game in the BSC. The D did not play better. This CWU team, I think bottom third, as I struggle to think they can get into the top 8.Jordan Tripp and Colter Nuanez disagree with you. Both said they would be middle of the pack in the Big Sky. The first half vs second half defense was very evident.
I understand listening to their coach talking about fatigue being the contributing factor in the second half because a majority of their starters are forced to also play on special teams. You obviously didn’t watch the game tape run down or talk to coaches. Plus, you don’t understand football.
The radio talk from homers.Jordan Tripp and Colter Nuanez disagree with you. Both said they would be middle of the pack in the Big Sky. The first half vs second half defense was very evident.
And you obviously are a better football judge than Tripp and Nuanez. This CWU team, I think bottom third, as I struggle to think they can get into the top 8.
So you are saying that CW came out of a break at halftime to be so fatigued that they went (see below), in their next drives. UM's D performance had nothing to do with halftime adjustments and figuring out how to protect the edge better? Is that what you're saying?I understand listening to their coach talking about fatigue being the contributing factor in the second half because a majority of their starters are forced to also play on special teams.
IdiotThey would struggle to win a game in the BSC. The D did not play better. CW became fatigued because of the number of players having to play positions and on special teams.
That's how dumb you are. If they could finish in the top half og the BSC, they would have been invited into the league instead of schools in Utah. Ellensburg is less than 90 minutes from Seattle and would have opened up a whole new TV market.Idiot
CW may not have the money, desire or politics to go to FCS. Quality is not the big piece of that equation. EWU, a WA school, appears to barely be hanging on in FCS.That's how dumb you are. If they could finish in the top half og the BSC, they would have been invited into the league instead of schools in Utah. Ellensburg is less than 90 minutes from Seattle and would have opened up a whole new TV market.
Got their asses handed to them today. Once again, you're dumb.I don't agree that they are in trouble. The DE's are good or very good, including the transfers from Carroll. The nose guys looked fine so far. Yes, everyone knows Gubner was great and we'd be better with him at nose. It was the first game in a fairly complicated defensive scheme that requires considerable coordination. These guys need time to learn the D better and work with each other. There is alot of talent in the linebackers. They need to learn to play better too, and they surely will. The DL is in trouble. What a dumb comment.
Not true. You don't understand football, and you don't watch or know how to watch the game. The DL was fine. The secondary lost their receivers a few too many times, especially in the first half. Loud covered well most of the time, but got the dumb penalty late in the game.Got their asses handed to them today. Once again, you're dumb.
But who won the game?Got their asses handed to them today. Once again, you're dumb.
And when it counted late in the game, UND got their asses handed to them. The game is 60 minutes. Unknowledgeable football fans like Hike often judge games by only parts and pieces of the games. They and he are unable to see the total game, even after the game has ended and the result is known. In my experience, that's a tell-tale sign of something who doesn't understand the game. And then throw in a huge bias against the coach, and this is the result you get.But who won the game?
