I don't agree. 8-3 and playoffs, and likely seed, is back. No team beats its rival every year.
Except apparently MSU the past four haha

We’ll be fine, but that doesn’t mean today didn’t suck a whole lot.

Oh. It sucks. BIGTIME. But you’re correct, we got more games to play
Rb griz I have something good. At least the band showed up ready to play

Good point. A highly overlooked aspect of the game

Fire Bobby... i said it on this forum the day that he was hired that he was and still is a poser... last stint here, he inherited a sports car and drove it until the tires fell off then left. At Nevada he sucked.... now back at UM he still sucks. winning is hard when you cant inherit success!! FIRE BOBBY!!

Are you an idiot or a troll, or both?

9-3 with losses only to 2 good conference teams and to a very good Oregon, is a terrific season.
Including 2 absolute humiliating losses back to back to the cats... hell, stitt had what you are crowing about... BH was hired to BEAT THE CATS But he has neither the experience nor the talent to do so.

you are a fair weather fan at best..

Hell, I guess they only have to find a coach that can win 1 game/year...just better make sure it is the Cat game.

It works for MSU

I think lunch at Lydia's might have been good. Don't know about the accommodations in Livingston. Still some changes to the itinerary in 2 years might be in order.

The accommodations In Livingston must have been outstanding, it appeared that they showed up 60 minutes late for the game

The only thing good about the game is I was helping my son insulate his house, and I didn’t see it. My neighbor taped it and asked if I wanted to see it? Hell no, delete it with extreme prejudice.

The highlight reel should be nonexistent, thus saving valuable electricity, your friend, yogi

Good:

One nice kickoff return by Malik.
Dante was all over the place. Warrior. 151 tackles last regular season; 151 more this year.

Bad, and Ugly:

Everything else.

Hmm :-|

This is why the Cats have... wait for it... nine wins.

But we all know the cats could go 1-9 and as long as that one win was against the Griz, cat fans would be ecstatic

Do we all know that? Because that sounds totally wrong to me.

Hauck was hired to bring the program back, and he has already done that. He was not just hired to beat the Cats.

The program isn't back if you don't beat the Cats. The program is not back if you are humiliated in front of a State-wide audience.

Completely disagree. Today’s game is/was no less or more important than any other game on the schedule. We are 9-3 and playoff bound for the first time in four years. THAT is bringing the program back. Extra games. Extra practices. Extra development time for the underclassmen. That is invaluable for building a program up. And this year, we finally get it back.

Ugly: That damned oblong ball just wouldn’t bounce in our favor. Turnover on the first play from scrimmage. Then cause TWO fumbles on the ‘Scats first two plays from scrimmage and both they miraculously recover. Then cause two MORE fumbles but they both go out of bounds....

just wasn’t our day. Time for a break and then a playoff game or two.

I think we do know that. What other teams fans rush the field after beating a team when they're already in the playoffs? I don't think you'll see any major consternation if something crazy happens and the cats get bounced early in the playoffs, because hey, they beat the Griz.

Obviously the game means a ton to both teams. Hence the meltdown among Griz fans and the jubilation among Cat fans. The "you care more than us" narrative is beyond stupid. Both teams and fan base care a whole lot... which is why it's a great rivalry.

But that's not what was said. He said that Cat fans would be content to go 1-9 every year as long as the one was in the Brawl. That's clearly bullshit. But whatever gets you through, I guess.

I know you guys are jazzed and expecting a meltdown, but the collective state of this website and Griz fans in general today is way better than it was even compared to after we lost to Sac just over a month ago, let alone the train wreck that was the aftermath of last year's game.

This is the tamest and most reserved I've seen this site and the fanbase after a loss to the Cats in my lifetime.

You and several others have been measured, with great perspective.

Elsewhere, I've seen suggestions that Griz coaches be fired, that the loss was on purpose, that Bobby's comments cost them their edge, that they don't even deserve the playoffs, etc, etc.

The point is simple and shouldn't even be controversial-- both sides of this rivalry care a whole lot. I'm not even trying to make fun. I know BN would be much the same.

Yeah, there are always gonna be those that overreact, no matter the loss, but this year just didn't have the same amount of awful takes from normally rational people we've seen in the past.

To be fair, I have not read the game thread, though.

I think this goes under ugly as well
