The first BIG game of the season. We gotta get Chism in foul trouble w/o getting Heytvelt in the same. I think we can keep up with them in an up-and-down game, but if it goes half court, I think we'll have trouble stopping the penetrate and dish to three offense. Of course, that's contingent on UT actually knocking down the three ball (they are shooting about 40% as a team).

If GU wins, it will be sweet. If GU loses, it will suck, but at least some people will post to rub it in.

Zags win by 9 after leading by 18 in the second half. We tried to give it away...

I thought the officiating in this game was horrid both ways. I'm glad we didn't get screwed over too badly. We gave up way too many offensive boards, but I think we played pretty solid otherwise. Pargo had a couple bonehead plays as usual, but he has become a great point guard.

Agreed CDA, I was fuming at Pargo for taking stupid shots with a double digit lead and 30 seconds left on the shot clock. However, it is so nice to be able to play an average game and beat a 12 ranked team in the nation. Also, revenge is sweet! They got us last year in Seattle (I was there) and I was happy we could return the favor this year!

Downs and Ira! had some sweet dunks, also Pargo's was a cool one.

I wonder how many NBA scouts were watching this game.......I think Daye looked really soft against a tough defense, almost scared out there. Maybe this means he will stay another year?????
