Going to the Chipper -Player Development??

This post season has added 7 weeks to our season. (Nov 25-Jan 7 ) A buddy and I were talking about how this allows our younger guys to develop more. Assuming we play a 12-game season, we just added almost 3/4 of another season for player development. We thought this might be part of the Bizon secret sauce for their dynasty run?

No secret just a well documented bonus for all the teams that make the playoffs each year. Certainly an incentive for the coaches that have young teams...

It’s a double edged sword. More wear and tear for some players. Valuable reps for others. By the time it is all said and done there’s not much time between the final game and spring ball which keeps these guys at a high level with little rust between seasons. However, I bet some of the upper classmen take reps but take spring ball as more of a recovery period than usual. Luckily we are much healthier than we have been previous seasons. It would be interesting to get the staffs take at the end of the season, maybe qb club members do?
