Going for it on 4th down

I'm OK with going for it on 4th outside the 35-40 yard line if less than 5-6 yards are needed for the first down. That being said, in general it works a lot better if the D isn't ready for it. I'm hoping he will occasionally punt or fake the attempt. Otherwise teams will adjust and be ready for the 4th down try.

I don't think anyone will be caught off guard by a fake. When we lined up to punt against NDSU you could tell they were like "yeah, right no way this guy is actually punting" They had their regular D out there as if we were going to throw out of the punt formation.

Yep. I think the only way we "fool" anybody now would be to have Brady (or a back after a direct snap) do a "quick kick." Hmmm ... wonder how long before Stitt calls that too. :lol:
