The only way to go. Big keyboard for my fat fingers and a 27" monitor for my weak eyes. Big processor power and RAM. Multiple optical drives for my music collection. Everything I need right on my desk; external hard drives, no cloud BS. Office looking right at Granite Peak; no need for portable unless I'm travelling, then a less capable laptop accompanies, connected via Office 365. Android phone is for phone calls and texts; almost never need to get online.

I guess you're not around the gamers who need the computing power towers can offer. The more powerful ones now are liquid cooled. They're not for the phone/tablet crowd. I'm not a gamer, I just like the power available, sort of like having hemis in my cars.

I guess I’m the opposite. I like ONE device, and I like it to have multiple uses and be very portable. There’s been very little I’ve wanted to do that I couldn’t do on my tablet (definitely NOT a gamer, lol).
