I am all in for the Cats and the "Buttant" Tommy Mellott to have a great game. Always baffles me, the rants against the Cats with 37 kids from Montana on the roster and some folks still can't root for the 406 team.

born and raised in hippy town and while i went to UM I have one daughter who got her degree at UM and one that got her degree at MSU so house divided lol.

My brother and sister in-law graduated from MSU. I can't hate them, except during the brawl.

Today - Go Cats Go! Make the state of Montana proud. Be the first to hand SHSU coach his first home playoff loss.

Classy - thank you for making this post in the middle of an infantile rant festival. I rooted for the Griz like hell but JMU is just a great team. That was big boy football last night & I would not be surprised a bit if JMU wins the chipper. Likely more of the same from SHS tonight, but we still have a Montana team in it! Why not root for Montana kids? Why not root for national Montana football exposure? If the Cats move on, hell what if they get all the breaks in the world and win it all, don't you think that would make the Griz better? We chase each other, complete for literally everything from recruits to the turd mountain trophy, and in doing so we're both better. Look at the improvements over here in the last decade - coaching, facilities, fund raising, etc. - we did all of this to beat the Griz and complete for a national title. Without the Griz, MSU would not be having its success. Same for the Griz - the 4 year run pushed UM to get better, and the last 2 years they did! Draw the shades down low, turn down the lights, turn on the game and find a Montana kid to root for if you can't put on your big boy pants & root for the Cats.

In my estimation, this is what makes you guys better than many of the cat trolls on here. But we already knew that. :thumb:
 
Born in MT. Raised in MT. Played high school and college ball in MT. Grew up a cat fan. Graduated from Tech as a Griz fan. Always rooted for the cats except for the cat Griz game. However, in the past few years the attitude, hatred and spite I hear from cat fans, toward the Griz and the entire University, I'm done with all of them. It turns my stomach. The only way to shut them up is to get their a** kicked. GO SHSU!

This is pretty much where I’m at. But I decided that, even if their vocal fans are assholes and high-end morons who struggle with the English language, MT guys on that team still deserve the support of MT people. Many of their players were 50-50 as to whether they played for UM or MSU.
