boy it's gonna be sweet when EWU wins another National Championship this year and equals the number of banners of the once mighty UM griz.
Remember, sports fans have short memories. Likely shorter than the last time the griz won anything big.
Good points. I hope Eastern wins it all. I think the best days of Montana Griz football, might be past and that is too bad. That's life..

^^^^Bandwagon fan. Go look back at the breakdown for each of the Griz' games. They were in all of them and found ways to lose. That's experience, and this team didn't have a lot of it.

uh, ok....5-6..

How about no team from the Big Sky gets past the first round (at least originally it was the first round) and the Griz finish NINTH in the league. But don't fear, we have the same people coming back to do it a again next year and a President that congratulated them.

Wofford tied at NDSU, 7-7, with about 1:30 left in the half. NDSU has the ball in Wofford territory, not quite in FG range. Woffie scored on a pick-six, so the ND defense is living up to its billing.

Check that: Aided by two pass interference calls, NDSU moved into the red zone and quickly scored. NDSU 14-7.

Again, all you're looking at is the record.

If you were here for the spring game and watched all the QBs besides JJ you would see why we were 5 and 6 immediately. JJ tossed 2 TDs and had 0 incompletions; he was head and shoulders above everyone else. We relied heavily on the run because we didn't have a QB. I have a feeling we'll have one next year, along with 11 starters back on defense.

Both Eastern and Bozeman State got past what originally was the 1st round. This is the new 3rd round or old 2nd round.

I see no reason to root for Illinois State. I don't even know where in Illinois the school is located. I'll cheer for Ewoo this time around, and probably would do so against SHSU.

Since various obnoxious SHSU fans are already all over AGS touting that they are going to be considered de facto Big Sky Champs, I'd say it's in the BSC fans' interests for the Eags to win in the event that is the semifinal matchup ... :D
Perhaps their blowhard fans have forgotten about the a$$ kickings they and other members of their conference have experienced by UM alone....guess we would have a multitude of de facto championships using their logic.

I still think NDSU wins the whole thing.

After watching the first half of the Wofford-NDSU game, it is pretty clear that NDSU has a very mediocre offense. Their defense is lights out but I don't see them being a shoe-in for the National Champs just yet.

Wofford was able to take a long drive down inside the red zone against the NDSU D, but stalled and then had a FG attempt blocked.
