That was awful. Broncos got beat like Ike on Tina. The high point of the Superbowl was Joe Willie in his fur coat.

Manning is a worthless selfish tool. Why not let Brock at least take the final snaps. It may have been Brock's only chance to be in a Super Bowl. I have lost all respect for him.

Really, pull out an Manning and put in the 2nd string? Brock will get his chance, it was Manning's to win or lose and he wasn't coming out of the game. Not selfish, just business.

Possibly a coaches decision...

A minute left, down 35 and its a business decision and Manning's to win or lose.
Ask Dan Marino about getting another chance at a super bowl.

You know that you are in trouble when you give up a safety on the first play of your first possession -- and it might have been one your best offensive possessions all game.

But seriously folks, the adage that "defenses win championships" could not be more thoroughly tested. The best offense vs. the best defense and the answer could not possibly be more clear. I was very impressed that aside from a play or two, Seattle's defense never let up; no prevent, no playing it safe. There is a message here...

Peyton was never comfortable in the pocket. Never had a lot of time to throw. Every time a receiver caught the ball they were hit hard. Seattle came in with the attitude that they were going to kick your butt and they did. Denver couldn't tackle on defense. It was rather pathetic. The Super Bowl was decided two weeks ago when the Seahawks played the Niners. And that is how it will be again next year.

The era of the immobile quarterback is over - and out. You got to have a pair of legs to go with your arm... :coffee:

Well, one immobile quarterback just carried his team, on gimpy legs, all the way to the Super Bowl. :coffee:

Seattle defense played at 3x speed while Denver appeared to be on pause.....

Closing speed by hawks was incredible

All the Manning bashing on here is pathetic. Obviously he didn't have a great game, but the way Seattle's defense played yesterday, there's not a QB on the planet that would have done much, if any, better. Seattle's defense deserves far more credit for winning that game, than Manning deserves blame for losing it. Not to mention that Denver's center, defense, and special teams also deserve plenty of blame. Seattle scored 43 points, and they're hardling an offensive powerhouse.

Montana State fan would make excuses for a losing team. "Best Offense Ever" got held to 8 garbage pts.
