My dad was in the Navy.

I was in the Army Reserve for 8 years, 55 Bravo Ammunition Specialist, 76 Yankee Unit Armorer (small arms, m-16). 1st squad leader in basic training... :lol:

My best friend (like a brother) retired a year and half ago from the Navy, 20 years, Commander of an F-18 squadron. He could now live anywhere the world, but chose BUTTE, AMERICA! :thumb:

I'm a former jarhead so go navy!! Although it's tough to root for squids or doggies.

No such thing as a former jarhead I-O. Once a Marine, always a Marine. Wear it proudly.

Grampa was stationed in Missoula with the ROTC and Gramma loved MT and didnt want to move again so after spending a career in the Army (2 tours in Korea and 2 in Vietnam) he retired and PRESTO a family of Griz fans was born.. Even though he passed before I came along GO ARMY, BEAT NAVY!

Perhaps people call it GRIZ/cat because they favor the university which teaches its graduates to write a coherent sentence.

Army played above their potential today. Much buzz about their new coach...I think they turn a corner and end the streak next year. Love everything about that game and everyone of those young men..on both teams. Now, the seniors prepare to kick some terrorist ass around the globe by land and by sea....and by air :!:
