For the record I never thought Stitt should have been let go, but I fully understand the politics of it. However I believe that Hauck and staff did an excellent job this year. I didn’t see them out coached in the second half. What I saw was a team with no depth at any position. They didn’t get up on teams in the first half with smoke and mirrors, the game plans were solid and the play was solid. They simply ran out of gas in the late third and fourth quarters. I suspect the players that left when Hauck came in would have made a huge difference. Get some depth and then things will be fine. Then you all can go back to bitching about something else.

I think this is exactly correct. The defense was just gassed in the 4th quarter. Announcers were commenting on it. Get some depth built up. The fact that we couldn't run the ball didn't make it any better. Can't leave the D on the field forever.

Why does the OFFENSE shut down then?

Bobby will turn it around. But imo offensively something needs to give. Verticality routes were limited and when they outflanked in a couple of series in second half there were opps with 1 on 1.

The OLine struggles. They got gassed too.

I agree. We arent that far away guys. Beating the snot out of people for at least half of almost every game was not a fluke. We make too many mistakes and depth most likely has something to do with it but we have alot of potential and I actually have more belief that we will be better than expected in year two than I had prior to this year. Are we National Championship ready next year? Probably not but I think we take a good step in that direction. I am one who thinks Choate has done pretty well. I am not more confident in him after this past weekend than I was before it and though I am biased, I think our ceiling is higher than the Cats. I think Choate has them operating at near full potential with their roster.
