You either caught the meaning of the 10/11's reference and are smarter than I gave you credit for or didn't, which enforces my original opinion of your football knowledge. I suspect the latter, Spinal Tap reference not withstanding.

Yeah, your use of 10/11's was a real head scratcher.
Apparently you're new here

It's like playing five-dimensional chess trying to keep up with everyone around here! Is that a veiled reference to a reference to a person that may or may not have been intending sarcasm? Crikes! Anyway, sorry man...

You're good. I had you confused with someone else. My bad.

Shot in the dark: does anyone else get the sense that a lot of the anti-Stitt guys wear that Avon cologne that comes in those glass cars and probably have a decent-sized model train collection? I could be off, but it seems like they are the type to sit in a lawn chair for eight hours up at the river lot saying that Paul is grilling those burgers all wrong, and telling kids that they'll "never catch anything with that."

Shot in the dark: does anyone else get the sense that the "pro-Stitt" guys are the guys at the end of the bar wreaking of stale beer and cigarettes mumbling about coach not putting them in in the 4th quarter? You know the type that sit down by the lake trying to convince anyone that will listen that they have a f***[*] clue about football, while even their embarrassed wife has to admit his knowledge of the game is on par with a third grade girls soccer team.

Huh, no. No, I've never got that impression. Then again, I don't hang out with too many people whose wives get embarrassed about football knowledge or know much about soccer.

Well, judging from your posts you're not very perceptive, so it's understandable.

Yeah, I'm getting mentally lapped here.

Lemme guess...next up you're gonna take a shot at the "truck nuts" that I've got swinging from my tow hitch? Not cool, man. Not cool.

This team is not good. When posters say 6 and 5 which 4 teams will the Griz beat? Maybe North Dakota.
The players cant tackle. Receivers can't catch. Seems team speed is way below normal.
We need a new coach. There has been no improvement since Stitt has been here. Cats have improved, ISU has improved with a first year coach, EWU is still very good. WSU is tough. Are you really looking forward to the ass kicking the cats are going to give us. I'm sick of if.

4-7 last year
1-3 this year

Please explain to me how the cats have improved. I must have missed the memo.

Great come back. Right up there with "neener neener". I'm sure you're going to tell all none of your friends about how you "totally owned" some dude on the interwebs with your incredible lack of football knowledge.

It's scary you can describe that so well, almost like you are living it! :D

It's true, we've only won 1 game...so far!

What happened to my thread? Just trying to point out that the past has no relevance on the now, and to just lighten up and enjoy, its a game after all.

Well, yeah! Wait, all none of my friends? But, I . . . I can't keep up. This is mind bottling. I need 10/11ths of a gallon of 3-in-1 oil and some gauze pads for my fetzer valve.

Are you trying to insinuate that talk of truck nuts, Avon cologne in car-shaped vessels and "Fat Chicks Ride for Free" bumper stickers doesn't honor your original intent for this discussion?

I'm just hoping the angry posters don't play golf or if they do they don't take is as seriously as they take the performance of others. I've seen people fire themselves on the golf course, its not pretty...
