First: Great win Griz!

Over on another thread, I "suggested" that there was a ripe chance for an upset at Colorado State. Well, FCS Illinois State decisively thumped the Rams 35-19. Not a big Redbird fan, but that is too cool.

Decided to watch our record of this game (we record a bunch of college football every weekend, just in case). Wow! The Redbirds lines (both O and D) largely man-handled the Colorado State lineman in the first half, and it didn't get any better to start the second half. I swear, the Illinois State linemen look like the FBS players versus some not-particularly-talented FCS guys. CSU better recruit some better linemen if they expect to be competitive.

Travis Niekamp, who coached Linebackers and Special Teams under Stitt, is now the Defensive Coordinator for Illinois State.
