Glasgow vs Ramos

Why did Bobby let Ramos attempt the field goal in the 4th quarter? Glasgow made the 46 yarder in the first half & Ramos came up short on the 45 yard attempt. If Glasgow had made it in the 4th quarter, we may have won it at the end of regulation.

Also, Ramos missed two 42 yarders in the Furman game. I remember at least one of them was short.

Yeah I’m confused on this. Glasgow was our starting kicker and was doing pretty good. Definitely has the leg. Then got hurt and Ramos came in and did solid until the last two weeks. Glasgow is obviously healthy and can make kicks over 40 yards. Not sure what the thought process is.

I was thinking the same thing when we brought Ramos in. Was a bit surprised it wasn't Glasgow.

I was a different "S" word-seething. Could have easily cost us the game. Not to mention the missed extra point.

Yea Ramos has been great since Glasgow went down. But he just doesn’t have the distance that a healthy Glasgow does. That first FG by Glasgow would have been good from 55. Not sure why they changed again. I wonder if Glasgow still not 100%? He’s handling kickoffs and drilling them so I would think he’s good to go

Just a guess on my part, but Bobby has a blind spot when it comes to seniors in maybe last game and if he really likes the kid he will give them the benefit of the doubt to perform. Hope is not strategy. I wished that question would have been asked in post game interview but if it had that person knew he would not be allowed back in the interview room again. Bobby hates hard questions.
