Glad This Seasons Over

This is so hard, watching this group of fine young men work at becoming a team. This group is talented beyond what there record speaks. They have been dealt a bad hand by the actions of a few of their peers as well as the professionals that are hires to guide them. Some you you can call out players that have not performed to your satisfactions but unless you have had the chance to play the game at this level, STFU. The professionals at this institution, the University of Montana, have let this group of fine young men down. I have had the honor to visit with a few and observe many over the course of this season, they have held there heads high and represented us well.
It is time for a change. I honor our current coach, but we need a change. We need positive stability and direction. Our players got short changed today, they got short changed this season. We need a Change. We need a Change.

I agree totally. Delaney should resign now, so that we can move on and repair the damage done, mostly mentally. We need to regain that Grizzly swagger that we had for 20 years. It was obviously missing this season.

I think the Cat game showed once again that it was not a lack of talent which caused us to lose. We still have the best overall talent in the conference. But the coaches let the team down big time this season. Delaney is clearly over his head. And, I am not too sure that Gregorack and Rosey are not over theirs too.

I agree that Delaney should resign and that a new "long term" coach should be brought in to start the rebuilding program. The Griz had a difficult off season to say the least. Losing your HC, your starting QB and both coordinators was just too much to overcome. That has been obvious. But this team has talent issues too. It will be difficult for the Griz to compete next year without a decent QB and better secondary players. Plus, the BSC has improved because of expansion. The "Griz Model" may have to be upgraded to assure continued Griz dominance.

The lead horse is the one who is not holding his weight. How Engstrom's job is not in jeopardy is beyond me.
but don't you know he showed excellent leadership by firing people? I have seen a lot of that kind of "leadership" in the military. Usually "leaders" like that don't advance as far as true leaders because everyone see right through them and when you start firing everyone, you usually end up getting fired. Not saying that is what is going to happen here but....
