Fullerton College lost its appeal of sanctions placed upon its football program, forcing the Hornets to vacate their 2017 National Southern League championship.

The Hornets also forfeit all of their 2018 games, leaving them with a 0-9 record. They are on a two-year probation that makes them ineligible for postseason play this season.

Fullerton College appealed the sanctions after they were announced earlier this fall. The appeal was denied Saturday.
