Give It Up for McKinney

You guys do realize his longest pass completion was 7 yards..............right? :?

I saw a girl at Reds with an arm amputated at the elbow that could pull off a 7 yard completion.

Since when is 18 yards a 7 yard completion? And Saylor's throw was solid. Rosenbach game-planned very well. To break in a new quarterback stretch the defense horizontally with quick outs so they stay on their toes when you pound it at them with Peter and Dan. I get that you just throw out nonsense to get a reply, but I thought I'd stand up when you're spewing made up facts.

YAC

YAC is just semantics, his longest completion was 7 yards..........I am sure if TM gets 50-100 more attempts down field I have no doubt he will hook up on 2 or 3 of them.

Long passes didn't appear to be the focus of the coaching game plan. Dumbest post ever for you.

Your boy Adam had two rushes for -4 yards...so yeah, he'd be a much better fit for a zone-read offense.

Well your other favorite team MSU's qb D MC averaged a whopping 4 yards per attempt against a shitty d2 team ! Should they bench him for Bleskin??

That kid really impressed me... What also impressed me was Coach not being afraid to pull the trigger on trick plays...

Alpha, don't you watch the 10 o'clock news? The other day on there in an interview, Delaney revealed that Montana's new offense is focusing on a short passing game to utilize our experienced running backs and wide outs with quick outs, slants, etc. etc. He admitted that we don't have a lot of speed on offense, so those short passing plays are not unintentional check downs, they are part of the game plan. TM did great on saturday, let's see you play half as good as he did. By the way, all those short pass plays and runs helped break a school record for number of first downs in a game. We obtained 34 first downs, that's right 34 first downs in that game against USD, and we nearly had 100 offensive plays. =D.

26-32 (81.2%), 214 yards, 2TD, 1INT - 151.8 efficiency rating. Add in the 13 carries for 65 yards (5.0 yards per carry) and I'd say TM had a hell of a game.

During the entire game John Edwards was commenting on how those throws TM was making were not easy, and how they only look easy when the QB is throwing them damn near perfect every time (like TM was). His long ball to Saylor was a good pass that should have been caught.

Edwards seemed very impressed with McKinney..

How many posters here are former Griz starting QBs who won a NC? :) Think I'll trust JE's opinion a little more than some cat fans and forum warriors. :thumb:

She "shortarmed" it..............................

If you've been around egriz for a while, you will know that alpha gets on with these negative rants against a coach, Bobby hauck, against a player, Peter Nyugen, or another player Trent McKinney. He'll go on and on and never change his attitude. The best response to alpha's rants is "Whatever dude." and then let it go.

All of you McKinney lovers better watch what you write, or you may have to eat those words. This is ONE GAME! He was not the player running through the South Dakota line. let;s give a few games against better competition before you anoint him as a savior.

I don't think anybody is annoiting him the savior at this point, I just think he did a fantastic job in his first collegiate start. Keep in mind he is a redshirt freshman. He is at least due a congrats on a "steady" first start, don't ya think??

Shoot Luke she's loaded!

Alpha was drunk again during the game, gas and tonic. Police reports noted him passed out with an old mexican girl under a motor home beside parking lot P. No way he remembers the entire game.

Growler knows we have a Mc KING in the making and is also throwing down on the kid.

Listen, both these hard case felons know perfectly well our QB is the real deal. Both are simply sucking the maroon blood from you. All the time sipping on a cool drink laughing at your responses....

These two dudes are legends in our time.
