Been lurking here for years and years, this thread prompted me to actually set up an account to echo my appreciation for the pod.

My son and I travel to Missoula from Bozeman for all home games and nothing makes that drive go by better than a 3 hour pod. Not only is it the perfect length for the drive but has also delivered countless opportunities to teach him a little more about the game. The pod has become part of our gameday weekend ritual.

The worst part is having to wait all the way until Friday to listen to the pod when it drops on Monday's.

Hopefully your son is ok with the occasional cursing and odd stories from Luke

ha, he definitely didn't get introduced to the GFP until he hit high school age, the language and stories on the pod are mild compared to what he hears there.

I agree with Everett! I’ve been a loyal listener since the very beginning. The GFP is always at the top of my must-listen podcast list and always a fun listen. Thank you Gentlemen! :thumb:

My idea on money. Start a go fund me or similar at the start of the broadcast. Keep announcing what the total is during the broadcast. Then, start a new one the next week, but be sure and keep the donations coming in for several days after the pod cast. When you start a new one, make it a challenge to beat the previous week. All this money could go to the NIL. HELL, with you guys,, this could be better than the Jerry Lewis telethon‼️‼️🏈

Agree with all the kudos here.
Just remember to call me if you ever decide to do a produced open (or to voiceover all those future beer commercials)! ;-)

Finally, if I may be so bold, would you guys PLEASE consider a pod the week between Christmas and New Years. I will need something to listen to on my flight to Frisco.

We could try! We're working on rounding up some former players to talk about their experience in the national title game. Luke is out of town in a few days all the way beyond the national title game so we talked on doing a few lighter/shorter fun ones by way of zoom

Listening to you guys talk about interviewing players from past NC teams, I thought it'd be cool to interview about four or five guys, then drop little 30-45 min segments throughout the week. One each day, just to keep us fans getting a little taste leading up to the game (not an addict, I swear). You could probably record most of them in one or two days, but spread it out throughout Championship Week. Love the pod!!

Love the podcast. Informational and podcasters feelings/opinions etc about Griz football are so much like so many Griz fans. Well done fellas
