GFP with new soccer coach Stuart Gore

It is football, just not the American version. To 90% of the world they think of soccer when someone mentions football without saying American football.

Thanks Brint to get these out to us and thanks to the Griz Fan Pod, UM Staff, and Coach Gore for taking their time to produce this content for Griz Fans! I felt like I was back in Missoula walking through the downtown haunts (Mo Club, Rhino, Stocks, etc.).

As of right now, Kent has hit it out of the park with the last two hires. I can only imagine what the athletic department is like right now with both BK and Gore. This guy is going to take the soccer program higher than Coach Cit.

On a related note, when Coach Gore talked about his mom, I couldn't stop laughing. It felt eerily similar to my childhood with my dad. It has to be a Scottish thing.

Note to Brint, Vienna will blow your mind. Unless you've already been to Vienna, you may want to spend at least one day in Vienna. It's the most cosmopolitan city in Europe and was the center of the spice trade which is evident in the food. Here's a place that's not widely known in Vienna that is located within the Roman Wall with amazing food; Griechenbeisl. Go for dinner and report back to us. I think you have to call to make reservations but not sure.

I also recommend taking trips to Budapest, Prague, and Munich.

Budapest is my favorite European city, wonderful people. The Viennans are so full of themselves, snobs on steroids.

Haha badass - thanks for the recommendation. I've never been to Europe, my daughter and several of her orchestra classmates are playing in various locations in Vienna in late July over 4 days. We were originally going to hit Paris first and then connect there but are looking at closer options to just take a train over to Vienna. Leaning towards Budapest, Prauge, or Munich

I would suggest Prague or Budapest over Munich.

I love Munich but my wife (then GF) lived there for 18 months and after multiple visits I got to know it like a local, which I think always gives a much different perspective.

Prague and Budapest are both wonderful however

I went to Orlando in August a few years back. I have never struggled harder to deal with heat and humidity. Montana dryness and working in an air conditioned building have softened me. I do not plan to visit again, which is somewhere in the top 25 saddest things about being an Orlando Magic fan.

I’ll go back to visit Disney World when I have kids but I would never go in the summer, I’ve been in March before. It’s fine but I like the Southwest better due to lack of humidity. 110 degree high in Arizona is more comfortable to me than 85 in Florida. Disney World is the better park but Disneyland is in a better location with more to do around it.

That's why we were there, and we wanted to spend the full week so we didn't want to it doing the school year.

I agree with you about Arizona. When my daughter is graduated, I see Arizona as the place I'll end up.

I moved to Alabama in August in the middle of a 105 degree heat index coming from Montana's perfect 85 degree temps. Kinda one of those jump in and learn to swim situations, except more like adapt or die😂.
 
I worked at Disney World for about two years during my college years. A paid internship with around 5000 other college kids living in Disney provided apartments together. It was wild. Moved down there in May. Thought I was gonna die because of the heat/humidity but got used to it quickly.

If you have kids in high school or college, you should have them check out the internship. You can take classes at Disney University. Plus it’s a great resume builder.
