GFP recording tonight, Poly win, EWU talk, & more

I saw a play at the end of the half, very odd. The line appeared to block momentarily before releasing and then we threw it behind them with blockers in front. What witchcraft was this and why don’t we do it more.

If Davis wins out which will include wins over most likely #2 Sac and Idaho, if Idaho beats the Bengals in their regular season finale, and if we win out which will obviously include a win over the scats, dose the Big Sky get six into the playoffs?

Has the committee historically weighted "good wins" late in the season for playoff selection?

Griz win out...chance for a seed? Scale of 1 ( no chance) to 10 (all day long).

EWU defense is as bad statistically as CP although their OOC schedule was tougher. Over / Under Griz score 39.5 against them?

Given LJ’s importance to this teams success, I want to hear your offensive game plans for beating the iggles and keeping LJ healthy (i.e. not taking any cheap shots) for griz-cat the following week. The only caveat is that Mike’s plan can’t include Daniel Britt in any way.

Interesting thought.
Cats will have played in two heated games (at NAU and at Cal Poly) before Brawl of the Wild whereas the Griz have played in the elements for two games
Any thing about this that could be an advantage for the Griz?

Hoping the trail of tears is nice and fluffed with fresh powder.

Any chance we could see Britt in the game for some designed runs/change-of-pace plays, or do we save that for scat/Griz, or do we only let him in during mop-up time?

Q1) In the future, when Britt is QB. Can Brint talk about Britt without confusing himself or others? Will it sound like Brint is always talking in the first person? What would be the beer over/under before someone on the GFP confuses the Britt/Brint names during a discussion?

GFP should preemptively start the nickname discussion for Britt to avoid future confusion.

Q2) what was everyone's nicknames in high school or college.

1. Agreed with most of the discussion last pod about shortcomings of the offense. Something that is hard for us fans to know is what injuries guys are playing with. A starter at 70% might be better than his backup.
2. Could the real reason for the Grizzly’s October troubles be Lucas Semb? He started covering the Griz in time for the ISU game, which was probably their worst performance to date. Then the 3 straight losses. He did not cover the Cal Poly game (Frank Gogola covered for him). Just sayin’

Coining a nickname: Brammer the hammer! That dude straight up crushes defenders, damn!

He can clean up on NIL $$ from Home Depot!

The play calling was much more diverse and just flowed better than previous two games, esp. Weber.
Is Brown that bad that they have to completely neuter the offense when he is a QB?
Did we learn anything on Britt or was mop up against a bad Poly team meaningless?

James, where do predict the GRIZ and Lady GRIZ BB teams finish in the conference?

Mayhem or Dr. Rich (don’t be like your parents)?

Sour beers: just putrid, right?

Anyone in the know with recruiting? I know there were plenty of recruits at the game yesterday, but it seems like it’s been very quiet on the commitment front.
