Unsurprisingly UM Athletics had no clue he was in the area and missed a good opportunity to showcase Griz football and the champions center.

He’s right, our stadium is definitely kind of beat. Griz fans pay a premium price and deserve a much better fan experience. It’s embarrassing how run down the stadium has become.

Maybe GFed should like give them a heads up that he’s coming? He likes to pop in unexpectedly. That’s literally what he does on his page. How do you expect the AD to know when he’s coming and leave the gate open for him? Fuck why don’t we just cry about everything these days. :rolleyes:

And Wa-Griz isn’t that run down. Come on, I’ve seen way worse. It does need some slight upgrades but you don’t need to burn the whole thing down.
 
Of course we have yet another person come on egriz to bitch, whine and moan about something. Sounds like of those assholes who live in America but constantly complains about living here. You don't like the fan experience then don't come. And the Griz didn't miss a golden opportunity to showcase anything. Everyone who knows football, knows all about the Griz and our facilities. This has got to be one of the dumbest posts I've read on egriz.

1. While not everyone is going to agree I assure you that these videos are incredibly important to recruits, transfers, and their family. The vast majority will only make it to Montana once before enrolling (their OV). And facilities show investment, and investment shows ability to develop players and has a direct correlation to winning for various reasons.

2. That said, this guy is an idiot if his whole thing is showing up unannounced. How can you hold that against UM?

3. There is a very good video already out there that I know has been very helpful to at least a few in this current class. What a difference when you plan ahead.


4. I think the stadium and facilities are pretty good, not great... But they do need TLC... Weight room is great, nutrition area is just OK, locker room is good not great, meeting spaces are ok to good. And the indoor, it's sad, even more so when you compare to the teams that are direct competitors. These things matter and get recruits, truly.
 
The fact that this guy's whole shtick is to sneak into stadiums without anyone knowing, and the fact that he was unable to sneak into Washington-Grizzly Stadium, tells me UM athletics is doing its job in securing our facilities. Hats off to Montana.

Montana likely would have been more than happy to let him see the facilities if he had just asked.

And also, the part he was looking at and saying it needed TLC is just a whole lot of concrete. Concrete is concrete. The stadium design itself isn't changing. Maybe a fresh coat of paint on a few things here and there might make a difference but other than that I don't know what he's talking about really.

It didn’t show it in the video but the press box is 40 years old. That particular part of the stadium is long overdue for renovation.

Have no clue who the dude is. Probably not too far from an accurate "TikToK" or whatever report. The Stadium does need some TLC, it definitely could use some more work on the West Side, and they should add two more corners on the south end. BUT...

Having been to many college football stadiums, Wa-Griz isn't bad. The worst I have ever been in was Joan C. Edwards here in Huntington. That's just a crap stadium especially for an FBS team. It would probably be a top 15 in the FCS. FCS Stadiums? The absolute worst I have ever been in was Sam Houston. That place is pure trash. I have seen high school stadiums better. But I am sure there are worse.
