Who else is traveling up for the Georgia State game next week? Huge game in terms of seeding for NCAA’s. Two of the best mid major teams in the country. We can send a message with a big win. Get out and support the best basketball team we have had in a very long time.

Attendance should be up this year. Win some these Non-conference games we have scheduled and they might start packing the place

Ticket office claims 1-1500 upper level tickets have been sold. So I imagine probably 2k fans in the GA and then maybe 1k lower level seats, Then a couple hundred students max. I would imagine attendance would be around 4k. It's still hunting season and to be honest basketball hype usually is created more and more as the season progresses and people hear "The basketball team is actually pretty good". Nobody knows who georgia state is and even though they are good...they have no name recognition. :roll: Advertising for tickets has been minimal. The griz facebook hasen't posted about the game at all. The basketball page has but that's 4k followers vs 140k followers. IG and Twitter are mostly going to be recognized by students and I don't think they have been posting on those but don't follow them closely. Our marketing budget is not huge so they are probably limited to social media posts and easy content dumps for a OOC game like this.

Just got an email from UM re: Friday night's game. They ae planning a BSC celebration tailgate in East Auxiliary gym and then to unveil the BSC championship banner before the game.

Warm indoor basketball game tailgate sounds pretty good about now.
