Anyone who supports Georgia Southern wasn't in Chattanooga in 2000 when the GRIZ lost 27-25. Their fans are the second worst I've ever encountered - before, during and after the game. Classless!

They couldn't be any worse than the Bizon fans that went through the parking lot breaking out headlights and antennae after they lost to us in 2010. Me and my insurance deductible will never call them great fans even though I know objectively that it was probably only a couple of jerks!

I remember Bison fans being pretty obnoxious when they beat us in 03. I remember having issues with them walking across the footbridge after the game.

I WAS in Chatty in 2000 when the Griz lost to GaSou -- and I'm rooting for them. The GaSou fans we encountered were all great.
It all depends upon the fans, doesn't it? We found the GaSou fans we sat with in the Chatty bars to be friendly, respectful of the Griz, and very knowledgeable. They not only stood for beers, but may have stayed ahead of us on that score.

FWIW, the D-III championship is showing right now of ESPN-U. Good game, and kinda fun to be able to switch back and forth.

Interesting GSU-NDSU stat: GSU has more than double the yardage for NDSU (that's not the surprise) ... and out-gained them passing 77 to 15. Who would have thunk that? Still, as expected, neither team has really piled up a lot of yardage.

More: NDSU offense is, as usual (from what people have said), mostly playing not to lose. Lot's of football to be played, of course.

I was just looking at the Wofford NDSU stats and it's a head scratcher as it looked like the puppies owned the Bison all over the field except the scoreboard. Crazy.

I like Ga. Southern too much, though. Go Eagles.

At this point -- getting late in Q4 -- GSU has a substantial lead in TOP. Next time the Eags have the ball, they could just ram it down NDSU's throat. NDSU better score on this drive.

Revise: Better score a TD.

I know Montana doesn't have the skinniest of fans, but NDSU............

Weight Watchers could open a franchise on every corner!!! Just sayin......

Given GS's feild goal kicker how close do they have to be for the feild goal attempt? The 1 or the 1 1/2 yard line?

Just noticed that former Montana Tech and Northwestern State assistant coach Kevin Corless is the LB coach for Geo. Southern.....small f'ing world

NDSU is REALLY REALLY good. Bobby Ball at it's best. Brock Jensen is a better version of Cole Bergquist. The Bison remind me a lot of the 08 Griz, only maybe with a bigger defensive line.

Fargo Dome is indeed a GREAT ATMOSPHERE. Their fans remind me of how insane Griz Nation USED to be. And I'm not talking about this season. I've thought Wash-Griz got quieter since the last expansion. That place was absolute bananas tonight. Can't wait to see it for myself in 2014 when the Griz go there.

Good for NDSU. The Bison will beat either EWU or Sammy in a close, low-scoring game in Frisco. Book it.

Better than Bergquist? I don't see it that way. To each their own.

Peaux, I'm judging Brock on his success. He already has one chipper, about to have two and with NDSU sporting very few impact seniors, could easily lead the Bison to three. That's how I choose to measure things.
