Montana senior guard Jordan Gregory joined an elite group of Montana Grizzly basketball greats with today's announcement of his Academic All-American status.

Sincere and hearty congratulations, Jordan!

Gregory becomes the seventh Grizzly basketball player named as an All-American, joining Craig Zanon (80-81), Larry Krystkowiak (83-86), Scott Zanon (86-87), Jeremy Lake (95), Matt Williams (2000) and Mathias Ward (2013).

There's another significant statistic in the story that nicely frames Montana in comparison to the rest of the Big Sky: "Montana's seven Academic All-America selections are twice as many by any team in Big Sky history."
