The type of play today IS the griz identity under stitt. Inconsistent and undisciplined play, leading to lots of penalty yards and stalled drives. Defensive ineptitude is a given under semore. UM could have the best players and still be an fcs bottom feeder on defense due to semores incompetence. Not saying I know more or could do a better job, but I'm not paid as a d coordinator. Until defensive leadership changes, the team is what it is, and won't change any time soon

I am affordable too. I can live on 100k/yr salary. Will only take bonus's for winning the National Championship. Yes, that would be a big bonus. :thumb:
 
My thought on surviving this football season:

1. Continue to root for our players.
2. Enjoy the tailgate atmosphere and home games that I can attend in Missoula.
3. Abandon any hope of a dominating performance on both offense or defense this season.
4. Expect that there is a minimum 75% chance that we will lose the remaining games on our schedule!
5. Petition by every means possible that our coaching staff be gutted and replaced with some competent individuals that know Division 1 football. The Stitt experiment has failed and he and his staff need to go!
 
Phen is doing a good job. Knows that Semore puts his DB's on an island and he knows he can beat us there. Our LB's are getting schooled and not making their reads of the RB on the wheel route and Phen getting his matchup of TE on our LB...we are losing those battles. When our DE don't hold the edge their QB has a long way to run....need to be disciplined

You are spot on and what is more scary is the Griz will not make any adjustments to make it better. I'd be very very very pleasantly surprised if they can pull out a win somehow
 
This team needs to win this game not just for playoff contention or conference implications, but also to prove they can beat a team with a winning record. Haven't done that in a while.

I am afraid I have reached the same level I'll cheer for them the rest of the year but my expectations are shot and have been for a few games
 
Got to admit it. Eleven Sports is a positive nice change from ESPN, FOX, ETC. How long has this network been around? Who is in charge of it, etc? I wish it were part of the standard DTV package, verses the sports pack.

It's time Semore realizes he has a mismatch and gives some help to his CB who is clearly struggling. But then again, it's Semore, so don't expect anything to change
 
The Griz have a lot of very talented players to be playing like this. They have a coaching problem!
