The Griz's former playoff opponent looks like the next FCS mover upper. Nice crowd and they've made a substsntial addition to Bridgeforth Stadium.

I don't think ESPN is too happy with the state of Montana over the "not airing our playoff" games thing a couple years back. Getting our Senators involved was classic but I doubt you will see Game Day in Missoula or Bozeman any time soon. Good for James Madison.

Griz Nation would rally! Would be huge! Best game day experience in the FCS would be the theme of the show.

They did discuss UM. Showed our NC losses to JMU and to the Spiders! Hey it was exposure. No highlights or anything just scores.

Ok there are many things that need to happen for GameDay to come to Missoula. First off I thought there was an outside chance Missoula would get it to start the season! Griz vs Bison Game featuring 4 time defending national champs and ESPN knows the environment at Washington-Grizzly is Epic. But it didn't happen.

The reason why JMU got gameday was because it was the only two top ranked teams inside of the top 15 #4 JMU vs #11 Richmond that played each other in the FCS and FBS. It was a good spot light game for the FCS.

The reason why NDSU got gameday twice was of their winning streak and national championship streak. Along with the schedule of FBS programs were not great those weeks when NDSU hosted gameday.

How does Montana get gameday? Go on a long winning streak or be undefeated. Win the national championship. Be one of the top teams in the country and hope there is no real games going on for FBS programs that week.

I would love GameDay to come to Missoula but a lot of things have to align! Griz vs the kitties would be great but usually during that time there are some big games in the FBS going on.

Plus Gameday would have to come in September so it is still daylight when they start, so we need a smoke free summer.
