How many of you will be watching the game on Altitude today?
Lets here some predictions and some analysis for the game.
I think weber is much better than the team I saw thurs against Msu and the Griz will probably not shoot as well as they did vs isu ,so I predict a real close game. Weber has a couple big boys inside so the griz inside game better come to play and keep the griz from getting blown out on the boards. I still think the Griz win by 6-8 points. I at least hope they play better than my youth team today we got killed 24-4. Hope the parents don't want to hang the coach , I keep looking in my yard for For Sale signs :D

I'm not watching, but if anyone is please post the uptodate score. All I have is the Net and USA Today says 54-46 WSU with about 8 minutes to go.

I listened on the radio. GRIZ got down early but stayed within striking distance until 8 or 9 minutes were left and then fell apart. We got very little from the point guards. Martin had 8 points but 5 came at the end when it was over. Lynch backed him up and had 0 points, 0 assists and 0 rebounds. I am having a hard time understanding why Lynch comes in for Martin instead of Matthews. Strait had a strong game as did McKay. Seyfert got in early foul trouble and ended up with 4 points and 0 rebounds. Suprisingly, Dlouhy did not score. Criswell had 15 but hit a low percentage of shots. Farr had 8. The highlight of the radio broadcast came in the first half when a technical was called on a Weber player for, according to Mick Holein, "whining and bitching" about a call. Ya gotta love Mick! :D

I've also wondered why Matthews doesn't come in as the point guard when Martin goes out. Virgil Matthews playing time has gone down pretty drastically lately. The first two games of the season he scored 10 & 8 points. He's a good rebounder, a very good passer & probably one of the better defenders on the team. He's also shot a very good percentage from the field & 3 point range so far this season (56.3% FG, highest on the team, and 40% 3pt).

In my opinion, when he's got the chance to play point guard he's looked pretty good. I'm not sure why his play time has gone down so much. In the last two games he's played 3 minutes each. Kind of odd. Anyone have any info on this?

Since the crowds this year have been really disappointing I was wondering what you think the turn out will be for the game saturday. Hopefully Krysko can get the team going after such a poor showing at Weber.

:o Krysko and the team will be going on Saturday even without Kamarr because defense will be the key. The only element that will be missing will be the crowd. My best guess is the turnout will be 4,567. This will be enough to have an impact if the defense creates some energy. If not Griz will have to hit some threes. I would like to be able to predict 6000 plus or an automatic sellout but I have not seen any sign of this. Going to be cold enough outside is all I should predict. :o

Matthews is a great energy guy that is not getting enough tick. At times he seems like the only guy who can create something going to the hoop. My only thought is he has looked loosey-goosey with the ball in the open court and Krysko doesn't trust him with the rock.
