Game Stream Links

Links to what....and endless circle jerk of update your adobe flash player. After last weeks attempt by these sites to eat my computer whole I learned how to "decline" all the options. Got to the "finish" button, I am asked to reboot so I do. After rebooting I click on the link and it still says I have to update adobe flash. Is this some sort of weird Geek Hazing?

You may want to install malwarebytes and let it scan your machine to remove whatever that alleged update installed. If that doesn't get it there are other good anti-malware programs out there. One that I've heard recommended a lot is Super AntiSpyware. I'm about 99% sure the "update" to adobe flash player you ended up getting was not adobe flash player but was something very malicious.

These sites are notorious for being loaded with spyware. Not saying don't use those sites, just be careful. As a general rule do NOT install ANYTHING from these sites. Even if it says you are missing a plugin or need to install something just close them. Close the ads and popups that come up trying to get you to install them and it'll eventually go to the video. Same goes for atdhe.tv and firstrowsports.eu.

ONLY install updates for Adobe Flash from adobe's official site. Here is a link to the official site in case someone does actually need to update their flash player.

It's also handy to have Ad-Block Plus as an addon in Chrome or Firefox (it'll block some of the ads).

Just hit cancel when it tells you to download the extras. And carefully click the x's to close the ads. It works flawlessly. Although I'm on a mac.

Thanks for links, I am installing the malwarebytes now. So far so good, the scan is taking forever. Will be well worth it though. :thumb:

Just don't click anything but the x to close or cancel if you get a popup telling you to download. You should get through the junk in 3 clicks if you follow this rule.

I've done it that way online for a long time now. Thanks for the fyi. Figured it would be wise to try what PG suggests too. He knows his I.T well.
