Disagree. That kid has a free ride to school. Good for him he earned it. But I give money to the program. He has been in the program without helping it for 4 years. In fact his play has actually had negative impact on games. So while I agree good guy. He’s gotten a full ride and free education. So good for him. He has benefitted. He is open to criticism tho. Don’t come on a football board if all you want to see is positive opinion about players.

That’s what a football board exists for. For people to blast nonsense. Accurate or otherwise and talk about their favorite team.

Add me as #4. The kid has hung around for years (through injuries) to try his best to make the Griz as good as we can be. Of course he has deficiencies, just like any player, and I'd bet that he knows that more than anyone, just like any player. Did he bolt for a lesser program to chase playing time as he could easily have done? No. He stayed with the Griz. He probably knows the program better than any other QB on the team. I've been critical of his execution, but I'll never question his commitment to the program. If I was a coach, there would always be a roster spot for a guy like that.

I actually agree with this take. His commitment is commendable. A lot of people would have hit the portal by now. Again not attacking the guy for how good of person he may be. Or his commitment. Just his play on the field.

To all those Griz fans bashing Kris Brown. There was a player on the Griz basketball team who suffered the same abuse as kris Brown. His name was Mac Anderson and he was the victim of the same abuse. He was also made the brunt of vile and vicious comments. But he stuck it out and even played his 6th year knowing that the abuse would not stop. But he was the heart and soul of the bb team. On and off the bench he never stopped giving his all to the team. In todays environment this is a rare commodity. And yes he did graduate with an MBA, paid for with his scholarship and I suspect he will have a successful career in whatever field he chooses. Why? Because despite all the criticism thrown at him he gave it his all.
To all the Kris Browns and Mac Anderson’s of this world, you never gave up.

I watched a football game for entertainment and the QB came in and threw the ball into the ground 5ft I front of the receiver. I said he sucks because that throw in fact did suck. Get over it sally.

+1, and it's no mystery why Kris has the character he does. I know his dad well. Great family, high character and hard working. I'm proud he is part of our program.
