Biggest issue for the offense, and it isn't even close, is the line play.

Maybe next year the shift responsibilities again and have Germer only deal with the center, apparently two positions is too much

They should put Bergen at center. Get two birds with on stone. Big brain shit. Only 100 years of coaching could think of that.

You definitely have a hell of alot more optimism and Confidence in our offense then I do, the play calling has been God awful. We are literally repeating last season but instead of struggling against just good schools we're now struggling against lower/middle of the pack schools as well. We have gotten worse

You wouldn't think it could get worse, year after year, but it seems like it has. Always same story. Always same excuses. Is it our players, or the coaching...... another question that is asked, year after year....

Serious question, would the Griz be better off getting rid of both pease, rosy and germer now and promoting phenecie to OC? Just rosy and pease? What can be done to improve the offense THIS season? Anything? This is truly terrible. Anyone looking at this team objectively knows it is NOT a top 25 offense, and whether or not they even belong in the top 25 is debatable.

However, you guys have a fairly easy schedule this year. It is still early. Was surprised to see the Griz come out flat like they did today. They didn’t appear to be prepared. Got a whole second half to turn things around.

I think our O-Line is still the glaring issue with the offense. It starts with them. Run blocking, pass protection, picking up blitzes. And if we need TWO tight ends to seal the edges but they can’t even block a kindergartener, Sam has no chance. McDowell at least has the running advantage. I think it’s purely coaching. And coaching leads to execution. Our guys are plenty big enough and experienced enough. Just aren’t being coached at a high level.

You can’t turn around an offense this bad in a half of football. A lot of it is on playcalling, a lot also on the players. Griz have definitely slid this season. It’s undeniable at this point.

Thing is, the OL is so bad that I don't know if we are getting a real read on how Pease is doing. Every thing he tries gets blown up.

Has anyone on here watched Big Sky games for the last 40 years or so? There are upsets and tough games every year. Griz will win this one close. And it will be a W. But this is not the most talented Griz team for sure. Every week is going to be a battle. Griz ain't blowing anyone out this year. But they play hard so I'm going to stay away from bitching and complaining. And for those with short memories remember the Cats walked away from Flagstaff feeling pretty lucky last year?

Oh it’s play calling and coaching 100%. It’s too vanilla. Go down the field, not this side to side crap. It’s annoying that pease just cannot seem to get the ball to the play makers.

Who’s in charge of the oline? Who recruits the oline? Why can’t we get good oline? We were told this oline would be great.
