NO... Dudes that jog off don't need crutches

Bobby playing games for next week

I’ve witnessed guys jog off the field with hamstring injuries that kept them out two or three games. Hope he’s back next week but I’m not holding my breath

Don't even say that!!

But why wouldn't they have inserted Brown when LJ was hurt in this game? Hauck had been saying recently that Britt was No. 3 on the depth chart for a reason -- or something like that. Have the coaches suddenly changed their minds about that?

Well it would appear so.

Bobby finally took my call. 8-) 8-)

Who knows? Maybe Brown is hurt or they figured this game was the best chance to see what Britts got without any consequences. They know Brown plays very conservative and doesn't turn the ball over much. When you have a qb start a game and you can still win it, but, its close, the smart move is to keep that qb in. If you're up 42 points, throw in anyone and see what they got.

Well we will never agree on this. IF it’s close and your QB is being effective at moving the team, I would agree. But he was not. It would have hurt literally nothing to give Britt a couple series to see if they could catch lighting in a bottle. They chose not to do that and it may come back and bite them in the ass come selection time.

I don’t care what the situation is. Anyone who has watched those two play and knows anything about football can obviously see that Britt is so much more explosive and plays so much better than Brown. He gives you hope and he gives you a chance. Brown gives you 3 and out and a punt and a prayer that your defense gets a pick 6.

Marty said during the broadcast that he had talked to Bobby earlier in the year and Bobby said that Britt just "wasn't quite there" yet, whatever that means. But also according to Bobby, The only way to get better at football is by playing football, and I think today proves that Britt is ready now.

Against Eastern Washington, yes. But we'll never know how he would have played against Sac State or Weber State since Bobby wouldn't let him play. Yes I know it's sour grapes and I'm beating a dead horse but I'm going to keep saying it anyway.

You were absolutely right. I would like to know that answer, also.

As an outsider, whyhasn’t Britt played more? He looked good today. Much more dynamic than Brown.

Have you been living under a rock? Either that or you're being facetious. You cannot be serious.

Britt would have won those two games, he has the "it" factor.

Cats were aggressive and wise the way they got Mellott into games very early in his career. He is very smart (Heard a 4.0, can’t remember field of study), but of course made mistakes. Threw a bad pick this year even against Weber. Mistakes happen. Part of the game. Hopefully Hauck stops being conservative. Today showed a lot of good signs. Opponent was terrible. Still, significant improvement the last two weeks and Britt being number 2 was refreshing.

How can you not be stoked for this? Absolutely love it.

I was excited to see him dress today, stoked to see him take the field, and ecstatic watching him break that run.
